A staffer introduces an autonomous machine that can detect coronaviruses from wastewater at the Shenzhen University booth at the 24th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) on Tuesday. Through technologies of high-definition positioning, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence algorithm, the machine not only can detect coronaviruses, but also microorganisms such as Norovirus, Monkeypox and colon bacillus. The machine is developed by Metasensing Co. Ltd., a startup by a Shenzhen University Ph.D. team.
