Fair showcases cutting-edge medical equipment
    2022-11-24  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Shao Haipeng (2nd R), one of the nine representatives who lit the torch for the Beijing 2022 Paralympics and also the one who has broken the world record for the robot walking marathon, walks wearing an exoskeleton robot during the 86th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) that opened at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District yesterday. This new-generation exoskeleton robot, called “Daai Robot,” can enhance the residual strength of muscles and activate the potential of patients, thus making their bodies stronger, according to its developer Beihang University. CMEF, which will run through Saturday, has attracted about 4,000 companies from 19 countries and regions to participate. Launched in 1979, the fair has become the largest exhibition of medical equipment, related products and services in the Asia-Pacific region.
