As the last wind turbine of the 400,000-kilowatt CGN Jiazi II offshore wind power project was connected to the grid yesterday morning, all wind turbines of the company’s 1.4 million-kilowatt offshore wind power project in Shanwei were put into operation. The project can generate 4.5 billion kilowatts each year, equivalent to saving more than 1.45 million metric tons of standard coal and reducing 3.5 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.Xinhua |
