THE China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shenzhen Municipal Committee (CCPIT Shenzhen) continued its photography exhibition tour in 2022 featuring a collection of photographs from the Expats Eye Shenzhen Photo Contest winners through its overseas liaison offices.

The photos selected from the competition, which was jointly organized with Shenzhen Daily, showcased the image of Shenzhen’s urban environment and its achievements on its drive to be a modern and innovative metropolis.

To mark the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between China and Mexico, the CCPIT Shenzhen Liaison Office in Mexico, in cooperation with the Mexican Senate Committee on Asia-Pacific and African Foreign Relations, held the Mexico-China Forum 2022: Recovery in Action.

At the forum, CCPIT Shenzhen introduced Shenzhen’s innovation and investment environment. The liaison office in Mexico also organized the Mexican subvenue of the Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference and introduced Shenzhen’s business environment and innovation to Mexican enterprises.

The liaison office in Kenya also held a business promotion activity to nearly 50 local business associations and companies. Supported by the University of Nairobi, it organized a photo exhibition in October at the university to introduce Shenzhen to Kenyans.

The CCPIT Shenzhen Liaison Office in Ghana organized the photo exhibition Oct. 3 during China’s National Day holiday. The exhibition selected a total of 45 photos about Shenzhen taken by photographers from different countries and regions.

Over 200 people from Ghana participated in the exhibition, with many visitors hoping to get a chance to work or visit Shenzhen. They praised the city’s rapid development on its way to become a world metropolis.

The CCPIT Shenzhen Liaison Office in the United Arab Emirates, in cooperation with the Chinese Embassy in United Arab Emirates, Chinese consulate in Dubai and the Foreign Affairs Office of CPC Shenzhen Committee, held a symposium with nearly 30 enterprises from Shenzhen to discuss about investment policies and expansion of channels for business investments overseas.

In Tanzania, the photo exhibition held between Oct. 13 and 14 took place at Lark Hotel. The photo exhibition also caught the attention from local printed and digital media outlets.
