A SYMPOSIUM for the expansion of specialized, professional enterprises in BRI market and China-Belarus Industrial Park Promotion Conference was held recently.

The symposium, jointly organized by the Shenzhen Promotion Association for Small and Medium Enterprise and China-Belarus Industrial Park Development Co. Ltd., Russia and Belarus have a big demand for industrial mechanical and electric products as well as consumer products from China especially after the Ukraine war.

At the symposium, local enterprises were expecting to participate in the China Belarus commerce and trade exposition to be held in July, which provides the latest business information and investment opportunities in the European and Asian markets.

This year, the promotion association, along with local government agencies, organized local SMEs to participate trade fairs in the UAE, Switzerland and Vietnam to expand their markets.

In May, Intersolar Europe 2022, the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry, opened in Munich, Germany. The promotion association organized over 30 local enterprises to participate in the expo and Hannover Messe 2022. It also signed letters of intents of 250 million yuan (US$35.92 million). The association also organized 140 local enterprises to participate in dozens of fairs online overseas, and 27 projects had been signed at a total value of 180 million yuan.

For 2023, the association had selected and recommended 26 exhibitions for local enterprises to participate in. The exhibitions cover energy, space and aviation, electronics and biohealth. So far, 150 local enterprises had showed interest.

The city’s medical equipment industry association recently organized local enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions. At the OCTF 2022 (Jakarta) Intelligent Technology Exhibition, the Shenzhen delegation, comprised of 18 enterprises in the fields of medical equipment and technologies, inked deals of intent involving US$45 million.
