Shenzhen Concert Hall

Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra

The Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert conducted by its artistic director Lin Daye. The program will include Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” and “Swan Lake,” Suppe’s “Light Cavalry Overture” and songs from classic operas, such as “Tosca,” “Turandot” and “The Barber of Seville.” Soprano Wang Bingbing, tenor Zhang Xiqiu and baritone Hu Sihao will be featured.

Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra

Conducted by Lin Daye, the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra will play a night of Chinese and Western music, as well as songs from classic operas, such as “Aida” and “The Gipsy Princess.” Tenors Warren Mok and Ma Teng, sopranos Wang Qingshuang, Tian Siying and Wang Bingbing, suona player Liu Wenwen and local choirs will also perform.

China National Opera House

Symphony Orchestra

Conducted by Yuan Ding, China National Opera House Symphony Orchestra will play familiar tunes, such as “The Bat: Overture,” “The Skaters’ Waltz,” “Cavalleria Rusticana Intermezzo” and songs from classic operas including “Rigoletto,” “The Merry Widow” and “Carmen.” Tenor Xiahou Jinxu, Soprano Li Jingjing, baritone Jin Chuan and mezzo-soprano Zhu Huiling will also perform.

Symphony Orchestra

Conducted by Yuan Ding, China National Opera House Symphony Orchestra will play Bizet’s ”Carmen Suite No. 1” and Dvorak’s “Symphony No. 9.” Violinist Liu Xiao will also play Saint-Saens’ “Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso.”
