GATHERING many innovative projects and new products, the 18th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) has helped exhibitors quickly find potential partners through the fair’s new product display and release platform.

TourBox Tech, for instance, received nearly 30 orders of intention on site after the company unveiled its new product, TourBox Elite, an upgraded Bluetooth photo, video and audio editing console, at the fair Saturday.

According to a TourBox Tech staffer surnamed Li, compared to the previous version, TourBox Elite has added a couple of new features, such as Bluetooth connection with two devices, which allows content creators to seamlessly handle different workflows on two computers, as well as hardware upgrades that cater to the needs of various scenarios and frequencies.

“All buttons on this palm-sized console come with unique shapes and touches. You can recognize every button without looking down and searching,” Li said.

Shenzhen Jiachuang Video Technology Co. Ltd., a leading enterprise in the domestic video industry, appeared in the Guangming Pavilion with its recently released “LOOPS CAM” 180-degree panoramic camera and virtual reality (VR) livestreaming solutions.

“This is the second time that we have participated in the ICIF. This year, there are more exhibitors, and we hope to find content partners who need VR technology at the fair,” said Li Jiajian, the company’s sales manager.

Chinese social platform Soul App also participated, showcasing its technological innovation achievements in the fair’s social metaverse.

In terms of scene creation and gameplay design, its self-developed NAWA engine blends artificial intelligence (AI), rendering and image processing to fulfill Gen Z’s sophisticated needs for the metaverse.

Liang Xiao, head of public relations of Shanghai Soulgate Technology Co. Ltd., which develops the app, said the ICIF’s new product display and release platform offered enterprises a stage to promote new products and display new technologies.

The cultural event, with its main venue at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District, as well as 65 subvenues across the city, concluded yesterday.
