    2023-01-10  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

NEARLY 200 Shenzhen-based firms attended Consumer Electronics Show 2023 (CES 2023), the world’s most influential tech show, in Las Vegas, from Jan. 5 to 8 local time, according to Nanfang Daily.

CES 2023 saw Shenzhen companies like BYD, Orbbec, Jackery, EcoFlow and Kandao showcasing their innovative products.

BYD displayed a car equipped with the NVIDIA-developed cloud gaming service GeForce NOW. The collaboration will bring customers more enhanced and immersive gaming experiences, and BYD has planned to jointly develop GeForce NOW applications with NVIDIA.

Orbbec debuted Femto Mega, its new 3D camera, at the CES 2023. The new camera, built in partnership with Microsoft, is the first product of a new platform aimed at enabling easy access to 3D technology. Femto Mega is a programmable multimode Depth and RGB camera, and has the industry’s highest resolution with real-time streaming of processed images over ethernet or USB connections, which makes it ideal to use in logistics, robotics, manufacturing, retail, health care and fitness solutions.

The camera uses Microsoft’s industry proven ToF technology and the NVIDIA Jetson platform to deliver a software-defined Depth and RGB vision platform for computer vision and AI developers.

EcoFlow, a portable power and renewable energy solutions provider, brought the latest energy storage ecological technologies and products to global tech enthusiasts at CES 2023.

With the continuous transformation of the new energy paradigm, EcoFlow is also constantly strengthening its research and development for new energy application technologies and products for individuals and families, hoping to allow global users to easily start a fully charged life anytime, anywhere through cleaner, more intelligent and friendlier products.

Additionally, Kandao, a VR research and hardware startup headquartered in Shenzhen and also a national “little giant” company, showcased its recently launched Qoocam EGO 3D, the world’s first stereoscopic 3D camera with an integrated viewer for instant playback. It also unveiled a 360-degree conference device named Meeting Ultra with two attached rotatable touchscreen monitors at CES 2023. The latest Meeting Ultra won the innovation award at the fair.
