Contemporary art

Jiang Zhi’s solo exhibition “The Man Who Carves the Boat” provides a rare viewing experience: Visitors have to peep into small holes in a dark room to see the artist’s photographic works and videos. Meanwhile, 14 artists, designers, musicians, writers and architects are presenting new insights on their hometowns at the “Hometown Spring” exhibition. The exhibitions are free to visit and the ending dates haven’t yet been announced.

Animal art

“An Animal I Am!” running through March 26 showcases Gabriel Rico’s works characterized by the interrelation of seemingly disparate objects. People can also meet new rabbit installations entitled “Party Rabbits” created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman at another exhibition running until May 4.

Movie posters

Movie-lovers can admire 100 posters designed by 100 designers for Chinese movie “Damp Season” at a free exhibition running until April 9. During the exhibition, visitors can watch “Damp Season” at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. free of charge.
