The 2023 Shenzhen Women’s Fashion Micro Marathon kicked off in Dalang Fashion Town in Longhua District on Sunday, two days before this year’s International Women’s Day.

The micro marathon raised funds for underprivileged children.

Over 3,800 runners participated in the event. Chen Liqin finished the 10-kilometer race in 37 minutes and 50 seconds to win first place. The micro marathon, organized by the Shenzhen Women’s Federation and Longhua District, also had a 3.8-kilometer fun run.

Registration fees for the activity will be donated to the Shenzhen Women and Children Development Fund to help underprivileged children realize their dreams, said the organizers.

报道中的micro marathon就是“微马拉松”，通常指5000米左右的跑步赛事，全程马拉松是42.19公里。
