Rail spur line

CONSTRUCTION on Shenzhen-Huizhou Intercity Railway’s Dapeng spur line is making new progress, as shield construction operations have begun, Shenzhen Evening News reported.

The Dapeng spur line, spanning about 39.4 kilometers long, starts from Longcheng Station in Longgang District, passes through Longgang and Pingshan districts, and ends at Xinda Station in Dapeng New Area. The line is expected to be completed and open to traffic in 2026.

The whole line will set up six stations, including Longcheng, Pingshan, Yanzi Lake, Kuichong, Dapeng and Xinda. After the line’s completion, residents will be able to reach Longgang and Pingshan from Dapeng in half an hour.

Rent subsidies

ELIGIBLE tenants who rent office spaces in certain areas of Qianhai can apply for rent subsidies for 2022 until April 4, according to guidelines released by Qianhai Authority.

Applicants must be lessees or property owners of the office buildings in Guiwan, Qianwan and Mawan areas before Dec. 31, 2020. Those who have enjoyed similar rent subsidies offered by the city or Qianhai cooperation zone for 2022 are ineligible.

The subsidies will be given according to the lessees’ tenancy and the actual rents paid. An applicant can receive an annual subsidy of up to 5 million yuan (US$724,445) for three consecutive years.
