New freight route

A TRAIN carrying cargo containers from Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) member countries, including Laos, Vietnam and Japan, departed from the Chengtong Trade Port Free Trade Zone in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, on Saturday morning.

The train marks the opening of a new international freight route for RCEP member countries through Shenyang to Europe via entrepot trade.

Mine accident

ONE person died and five others were trapped after a coal mine accident happened in Qianxi City, Southwest China’s Guizhou Province, on Sunday.

The accident took place in a coal mine under construction in the town of Guli, the city government said in a press release.

Online literature

THE sixth China Online Literature + Conference will be held from March 24 to 26 at the Beijing Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center, according to the organizers.

The conference aims to promote the production of quality online literature, facilitate interactions within the industry, and serve literary enthusiasts.

A summit forum and two sub-forums will be held during the conference.
