Reporters from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) look at traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) products at the TCM Professional Market in Yulin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on Tuesday. Yulin is rich in agricultural resources and has the country’s third-largest TCM material trading market. The city has been known as the “Pharmaceutical Capital of South China.” Its spice sales account for over 70% of the country’s total. The market currently sells more than 4,000 varieties of traditional Chinese medicine products. The delegation, with representatives from 21 mainstream media outlets in the GBA, is on a five-day visit to Yulin, the largest hometown of overseas Chinese in Guangxi. The event is co-hosted by the United Front Work Department of the Yulin Municipal Committee of the CPC and Hong Kong Commercial Daily. Courtesy of Hong Kong Commercial Daily |
