Wang Jingli wangjingli0715@163.com THE Shenzhen Municipal Urban Administration and Law Enforcement Bureau officially launched a campaign to learn about public opinions on urban park management problems during a ceremony held yesterday at Lianhua Hill Park in Futian District. During the ceremony, a public survey was published to understand citizens’ and tourists’ opinions on the use of urban park green spaces and to help promote urban parks’ functions and services. Additionally, parks across Shenzhen will launch various kinds of “self-checking” works such as public surveys and expert consultation to learn more about urban park management problems starting this month. The city’s park management center also invited a total of 12 renowned individuals and social media influencers from different walks of life to serve as park observers for the whole year. They will participate in the parks’ management work, experience different park activities and offer suggestions to help parks improve services. Citizens can also submit their suggestions through the “美丽深圳” WeChat account (mlszgzh). “Park director message” QR codes will also be displayed at city’s park areas for the public to offer advice. The survey and related work results will be summarized in a report this November, according to the city’s urban management authority. |
