Two firms will be delisted from the STAR Market on the Shanghai Stock Exchange after the securities regulator found fraud in their initial public offerings (IPOs).

Essence Information Technology Co. and Amethystum Storage Technology Co. will be delisted over involving fraudulent issuance, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) said in a statement late Friday.

Amethystum Storage is accused of fraudulent issuance along violating regulations for disclosing other information, such as falsely inflating operational revenue and profits in the company’s prospectus.
