ENTERPRISES engaged in marine-related businesses are expected to enjoy improved and streamlined services in Qianhai as a series of measures are being implemented to facilitate their operations, audiences were told at a press briefing held in Qianhai yesterday morning.

According to the 16 measures unveiled by the Ministry of Transport last month, the Qianhai Port of Registry will pilot the reform of the international ship registration and related systems to standardize ship registration materials, and simplify registration procedures.

In addition, the inspection procedures for the entry and exit of international ships in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) will be optimized.

Other measures include issuing an all-in-one certificate integrating multiple certificates such as the Certificate of the Ship’s Nationality, the Ship Station License and the Maritime Mobile Service Identify. The integration aims to streamline the inspection process of imported yachts, and promote the coordination and mutual recognition of ship safety inspection standards between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
