TEAMLAB SuperNature Macao, a permanent interactive art experience at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo, recently held its grand opening ceremony, marking the official launch of the landmark project presented by The Venetian Macao and the Tokyo-based international art collective teamLab.

In the spirit of celebration, three new artwork spaces, “Floating Flower Garden: Flowers and I Are of the Same Root, the Garden and I Are One,” “Massless Clouds Between Sculpture and Life” and “EN TEA HOUSE,” opened May 25, bringing greater surprise and elevate the visitor experience. In addition, the “Light Sculpture” series has revealed its major renewal, and “Autonomous Abstraction, Continuous Phenomena From the Universe to the Self” has replaced the existing “Life Is the Light That Resonates in the Dark.”

Located at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo, teamLab SuperNature Macao is a complex, interactive space with varying elevations that spans over 5,000 square meters and is comprised of enormous 8-meter-tall works by the art collective teamLab.

An immersive art space centered around a group of artworks, it explores new perceptions of the world and the continuity between humans and nature. Visitors can change the nature of the works in real time, directly affecting artwork spaces through synergistic interaction. Previous visual states can never reoccur or be replicated, making no two visits the same. (SD News)
