Chang Zhipeng 57589527@qq.com AROUND 100 youngsters who completed their college entrance examination, or Gaokao, last week, finished a 2.5-kilometer color run at the Shenzhen Happy Valley amusement park in Nanshan District yesterday morning to celebrate their high school graduation. “It’s a creative event through which I had a lot of fun and relieved my pressure,” said Zhong Ruhang, a senior high school graduate in Shenzhen. Another graduate, Han Rui-xuan, shared the sentiment, saying the event gave him a sense of ceremony. “I came here with several roommates,” Han said. “We hope to leave an unforgettable shared memory through this color run.” According to a senior staffer from Shenzhen Happy Valley, the event adopted an online booking method to accept applications and all the quotas were fully booked on the day. The activity is part of the Happy Valley brand’s initiative to promote the concept and spirit of the Universiade across its nine theme parks in China. It serves as a vibrant and joyful city relay, aiming to showcase the dynamic energy and positive outlook of young people in China. |
