The 71-day-long festival that takes beer, food, electronic music, rock and roll, dancing and carnivals as its main elements will last through Aug. 27. This year, the beer festival has introduced more overseas performing groups and beer brands to further cement its position as a national leisure and entertainment feast that integrates beer culture, theme music and performances. Every night during the festival, a show will be staged inside the Caesars Palace of the theme park. The show features pop band performances, hyped rock and roll music, fantasy magic tricks, intangible cultural heritage acrobatics, exotic dances and other performances and events including beer drinking competitions. A party will be held under the iconic model Eiffel Tower every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, inviting young popular singers, bands and DJs to bring exciting live shows and electronic music for tourists, helping them release stress and enjoy the infinite charm of music. The festival also sets up a food market that gathers a rich selection of snacks and interactive installations. Tourists can taste food from different parts of China including many signature snacks such as Changsha stinky tofu, Xinjiang lamb skewers, Zibo barbeque, Huazhou beef offal and Hainan coconut jelly. In addition, fireworks featuring different themes will bring the atmosphere of the beer festival to a climax at 9 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. The splendid fireworks will light up the sky following the rhythm of lights and music and will leave unforgettable memories for tourists.
