Stay alert for typhoon
    2023-07-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Workers place flood prevention sandbags at the entrance of the waiting hall at Xiuying Port in Haikou, capital of Hainan Province, yesterday. Southern Chinese provinces are recalling ships to port and suspending ferry services amid warnings of strong wind and heavy rain caused by the approaching Typhoon Talim.  Talim, the 4th typhoon of this year, is forecast to come ashore between Taishan of Guangdong Province and Wenchang of Hainan Province this evening, according to the Hainan Meteorological Service. Shenzhen is bracing for strong winds and heavy rainfall.  China News Service
