WITH a focus on new energy vehicles (NEVs) and intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs), Automotive World China 2023 (AWC 2023) will take place at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District from Oct. 11 to 13, the event’s organizer RX (Reed Exhibitions) said at a press briefing yesterday.

The event aims to provide an ideal platform to unlock NEV and ICV products’ enormous potential through a comprehensive display of industry-wide solutions, intelligent driving solutions, concurrent summits and business matchmaking activities.

Josephine Lee, chief operating officer of RX Greater China, said that AWC 2023 will attract some 3,000 Chinese and foreign enterprises to participate, launch their new products, display innovative technologies and solutions, and engage in business negotiations and cooperation discussions.

The event will set up five exhibition areas focusing on NEV drive motors, power battery and motor control, intelligent vehicles, auto engineering and assembly technology, smart factory and automation technology, and new materials.

According to the organizer, international brands will account for 30% of the exhibitors. Some of the renowned participating enterprises include BYD Microelectronics, BOSCH, Valeo, NEOLIX, Autosar, XPENG, Pony.ai., WeRide, and AutoX.

AWC 2023 will also collaborate with industry associations, embassies, consulates and trade institutions from Germany, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Brazil and other countries to hold multiple themed events during the three-day event, RX said.
