MAYOR Qin Weizhong met with a visiting Indonesian delegation led by Bambang Susantono, chairman of Indonesia’s Nusantara National Capital Authority, on Saturday.

Qin extended a warm welcome to the guests and introduced the city’s socioeconomic development.

With a mission to accelerate the creation of a new development pattern and pursue high-quality growth, Shenzhen is determined to expedite its efforts in building a globally influential economic hub and a cutting-edge international metropolis, he said.

2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Indonesia. Shenzhen will strengthen pragmatic cooperation with Indonesia in economy and trade, industrial transformation, culture, tourism and smart cities, actively support the construction of Indonesia’s new capital, Nusantara City, and strive for further progress in bilateral cooperation, he said.

Bambang Susantono spoke highly of Shenzhen’s socioeconomic development and expressed his hope for further deepening cooperation with Shenzhen to seek broader development prospects and promote mutually beneficial partnership and common development between the two cities. (SD News)
