City vows to ensure stable, healthy housing market
    2023-07-31  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

SHENZHEN will take measures to meet residents’ demand for basic housing and their need to improve housing conditions, advance the delivery of completed housing projects, maintain the order of the real estate market, and promote a stable and healthy development of the city’s real estate market, according to an official statement posted by the city’s housing and construction bureau on social media yesterday.

The move was taken after a meeting of the Political Bureau (Politburo) of the CPC Central Committee on July 24 pledged to “adjust and optimize real estate policies in a timely manner.”

The policy toolkit should be well utilized with city-specific measures to better meet residents’ essential housing demand and their needs for better housing, and advance the stable and sound development of the real estate market, according to the meeting, which was held to analyze the current economic situation and make arrangements for economic work in the second half of the year.

At a recent meeting with some developers, Ni Hong, minister of housing and urban-rural development, reiterated the requirements of the Politburo meeting and stressed the need to consolidate the real estate market’s stable recovery trend.

Beijing issued a similar statement Saturday. Guangzhou announced it will roll out related policies as soon as possible for the same purpose.        (SD News)
