SHENZHEN Party chief Meng Fanli welcomed a visiting delegation of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, one of the top banking groups in Europe, yesterday.

The delegation was led by Saverio Perissinotto, CEO and general manager of Eurizon, the asset management division of Intesa Sanpaolo Group and one of the fastest-growing asset managers in Europe.

Meng said Shenzhen is committed to deepening reforms, expanding high-level openness and accelerating the transformation into a globally influential economic hub. He expressed the willingness to expand financial cooperation with the Italian group. He also vowed better government services and greater support to facilitate development of foreign-invested firms in the city.

Perissinotto expressed great confidence in the city’s development prospects and pledged to explore more opportunities for cooperation between the company and Shenzhen.      (SD News)
