According to China National Climate Center on Thursday, the national average temperature was 23℃ in July, 0.9℃ higher than the normal level for the same period. The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region recorded its highest temperature for July in history and over 12 national meteorological stations across the country recorded a maximum daily temperature that surpassed historical records. Blisteringly high temperatures are being reported across the world, breaking records on multiple continents.
