These eco-parks have achieved full-scale residential waste incineration after meticulously sorting and categorizing the waste, and become popular instagrammable tourist sites. This innovative approach has shattered conventional perceptions of waste incineration power plants. The practice has been recognized by the State as one of the 46 reform initiatives of Shenzhen promoted nationwide.
