Bao’an intangible cultural heritage map unveiled
    2023-08-22  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE first hand-drawn Bao’an District intangible cultural heritage map drawn up by the Bao’an Cultural Center was recently published.

Since the Bao’an District Government was approved to release its first batch of district-level intangible cultural heritage protection items in 2007, as of now, a total of 67 representative intangible cultural heritage projects have been included, of which two are national-level projects and 10 are provincial-level, according to Bao’an Daily.

The map showcases the district’s representative cultural heritage projects such as the lion dance, the Xixiang Northern Deity Ancient Temple Fair and the traditional oyster farming in Shajing, and includes introductions and addresses of related venues to visit.

The map comprehensively shows the district’s intangible cultural heritage resources and is recognized as a platform to promote these intangible cultural heritage items.

A batch of maps will be delivered to branches of the cultural center in 10 subdistricts and 21 intangible cultural heritage-featured venues and will be made available to everyone for free. (Wang Jingli)
