The Shenzhen park of the Hetao zone will reach out to the international scientific and technological innovation network, pool top scientific and technological resources from Hong Kong and around the world, and promote international technology cooperation. He also vowed to accelerate construction of infrastructure in the park, including renovation of the Huanggang Checkpoint. Last month, the State Council released a plan for the Shenzhen park of the Hetao zone, aiming to promote the high-quality innovation and technological development of the GBA and enable the Hetao zone to become a world-class innovation platform and an engine to drive innovation and technology development in the neighboring cities. The series of measures outlined in the plan for the Shenzhen park included how to synergize with Hong Kong in promoting international technology and innovation, inject new impetus into the collaboration between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and propel it to new heights.
