A SINO-EUROPEAN train loaded with vehicles manufactured in China recently departed from Pinghu South National Logistics Hub. The transcontinental route charts a northern course, crossing through the Erenhot border checkpoint in North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, before proceeding further into Central and Eastern European countries. The train, transporting 110 fossil fuel vehicles valued at 15.99 million yuan (US$2.19 million), is expected to complete its journey in approximately 22 days, saving almost half the time compared to traditional sea transportation methods.
