Cleanup day champions ocean conservation
    2023-09-19  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Volunteers plunge into the sea to retrieve discarded waste during the 19th Shenzhen International Coastal Cleanup Day on Sunday. The charitable initiative saw over 500 citizens participate this year. The ocean cleanup event took place at 11 different locations across the city including the surface and bottom of the sea, beaches, and islands. With a focus on involving children and cultivating a sense of personal responsibility for ocean conservation, the event aimed to raise awareness and encourage sustainable practices among the public.                      Shenzhen Evening News
