FUTIAN CBD will dazzle with nightly light shows from tomorrow through Oct. 6 (except Saturday) to celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, according to the city’s urban management authority.

Each evening, three light shows are scheduled to captivate audiences at 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. These displays will last until Oct. 6, the last day of the National Day holiday.

Citizens eager to witness the light shows can now secure their spots by making reservations at designated areas through the WeChat miniprogram “福田中心区夜景灯光预约导引服务.”

The reservation system opens every Monday at 10 a.m. Once a reservation is successfully made, citizens can access their chosen viewing area 30 minutes ahead of time using their booking codes.

People are not allowed to bring tripods, large selfie sticks, drones, and other camera auxiliary equipment to the designated viewing areas.

The light shows’ schedules may be adjusted in response to weather alerts from the city’s meteorological observatory.
