Migratory birds are seen at Futian Mangrove Wetland in Futian District. Shenzhen Bay and Futian Mangrove Wetland have welcomed the first batch of southward migratory birds for the year. According to the management office of the Guangdong Futian-Neilingding National Nature Reserve, the period from October to February of the following year sees a significant influx of migratory birds arriving in Shenzhen to either spend the winter or take a rest and refuel for the next leg of their journey.
