THE fourth Shenzhen Global Artificial Intelligence Expo is scheduled to be held at Hall 2 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District from tomorrow to Saturday.

Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, the expo is expected to bring together nearly 200 artificial intelligence enterprises, along with around 200 academicians, experts, scholars, and representatives from industry leaders.

During the three-day expo, a series of events focusing on the latest AI technology and industry trends will be held.

The expo will showcase technologies and products in the basic, technical and application levels of natural language processing, image recognition and computer vision, machine learning and data mining, robotics and automation, intelligent customer service and intelligent assistants, smart health care, smart finance, smart energy, and environment, according to the organizers.

To cater to diverse scenarios, the expo will host specialized areas such as a virtual interaction experience area, an unmanned systems area, a robot interaction zone, and an AI application innovation area. The areas will illustrate the multifaceted ways in which AI empowers various industries.

During the expo, the “‘20+8’ Industrial Cluster Industry-University-Research Matchmaking Series Activity — AI Special Session” will provide a platform for gathering and connecting resources within strategic emerging industrial clusters.

Official statistics show that as of the end of 2022, the number of AI-related enterprises in Shenzhen reached 1,588, ranking second in the country. (Zhang Yu)
