Visa-free regime

KYRGYZSTAN has introduced a visa-free regime for some citizens of China and India, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday.

Citizens of China and India — holders of long-term multiple-entry visas from countries such as the United States, Britain and the Schengen zone, are provided with a visa-free regime for up to 7 days with the right to re-enter after 21 days from the date of departure from the country.

Childcare services

MEDICAL and healthcare institutions are encouraged to take part in the development of childcare services, according to a recent guideline.

The guideline, jointly released by the General Office of the National Health Commission (NHC) and two other departments, called for county-level health institutions to engage with childcare providers and extend door-to-door guidance services.

Healthcare institutions at the primary level can also improve health management for infants and children by signing contracts with childcare facilities, it said.

Heritage conservation

THE 6th Taihe Forum was held at the Palace Museum in Beijing from Monday to Tuesday, with a focus on international collaborative efforts in the conservation of cultural heritage.

The forum was hosted by the Palace Museum, the Forbidden City Cultural Heritage Conservation Foundation, and the Chinese Society of the Forbidden City.

Over 10 guest speakers exchanged their views on the role of international organizations in promoting cultural heritage conservation from the perspectives of institutional development, talent cultivation, and academic achievements.
