Guests kick off the Shenzhen MSU-BIT University (SMBU)’s second “NAUKA 0+” Science and Culture Festival yesterday at the university’s campus in Longgang District. The festival, themed “Now is the Future,” promises a weeklong celebration of science and culture until Sunday, and it is free for the public. Renowned Chinese and Russian scientists are scheduled to participate in a series of activities, including lectures, open laboratories, and academic forums to share insights and knowledge on topics such as natural science, aerospace, and artificial intelligence. Participants can also get themselves immersed in the charm of both the Chinese and Russian cultures through music, movies, and literature. “NAUKA” means “science” in Russian, and “0+” means the festival is for a wide audience of all ages.
