PASSENGERS are required to remove their frightening makeup or bizarre costumes before entering Metro stations today, Halloween Day, to avoid causing panic and discomfort to others.
Based on the previous experience, Shenzhen Metro Group said in a release yesterday that Window of the World, Shenzhen Bay Park, OCT, Sea World, and Houhai stations will see a surge of passengers participating in Halloween parties or activities throughout the city.
To facilitate the travel of citizens, Shenzhen Metro lines 1, 3, 5, 11, 14, and Metro Line 4, operated by Hong Kong MTR, will extend their service hours by approximately 1 hour today, with operating hours adjusted to be from 6:30 a.m. to midnight. Line 11 will operate until 12:30 a.m. the next day.
Guangzhou has introduced similar requirements. |
