Han Ximin 1824295095@qq.com THE 25th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), the country’s largest tech fair, will open simultaneously today at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District and Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao’an District. The fair has four comprehensive exhibitions, covering approximately 46,000 square meters. They are the National High-Tech Exhibition, International Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievement Exhibition, High-Tech Services Exhibition, and Little Giants Exhibition. Little giants refer to SMEs who focus on niche markets and have strong innovation capabilities, large market share, and cutting-edge core technologies. Another 446,000 square meters will be devoted to specialized exhibitions on fields such as next-generation information technology, environmental protection, new display technologies, and smart city. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the latest “black technology” products up close, including ultra-mini computers, AI personal assistants, bionic arm robots, smart electrocardiogram clothing, and non-invasive blood glucose meters, allowing them to feel the charm of technology and the boundless possibilities of the future. The fair will showcase over 300 new technology trends, including a mind-blowing release of new materials for the futuristic land-air integrated flying car, the world’s first domestically produced electric vertical takeoff and landing manned craft, new intelligent construction technologies, cloud-based water system control, satellite infrared leak detection algorithms, and smart hardware. An exhibition on international innovation achievements, covering 3,700 square meters, has attracted exhibitors from over 40 countries such as Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, and Germany. Hungary will display their latest electric car models, while famous Czech auto brand Skoda will also display their new models. Asseco, the sixth largest software firm in Europe, and VividQ, a unicorn in the AR/VR field in the U.K., will present their latest technologies. (Continued on P2) (From Page 1) The IT exhibition will closely follow industry trends, focusing on autonomous driving technology and its commercial applications. The artificial intelligence zone will feature technologies and products related to unmanned driving, key algorithms in artificial intelligence, AI technology for content generation (AIGC), 5G applications, and industrial ecosystems. The palm-swiping payment system will be on display. Compared to facial recognition payment, palm scan payment offers higher security and accuracy. Unlike fingerprint recognition, which reads the skin’s ridges, the system recognizes the palm prints, veins, how one stretches their hand and other characteristics. Shenzhen’s Micro Computer Co. will present the palm-sized Mini PC at the fair, marking the beginning of the era of ultra-mini computers. This machine, with a volume of only 1/4 liter and weighing just 238 grams, can be easily placed on a desk, carried in a handbag, or even fit into a jeans pocket, offering great convenience for commuting and business trips. Despite its small size, it boasts powerful performance, making it suitable for daily office tasks and light gaming. Service robots, companion robots, and medical robots, which were once the domain of science fiction movies, have gradually made their way into our lives and will make a dazzling appearance at the fair. The fair will feature IP cultural and creative products, such as CHTF-themed canvas bags, coffee cups, and IP character-themed stickers. There will be visual experience activities such as themed light shows at local landmarks including the Civic Center, Shenzhen Bay Park, Talent Park, OH Bay, Nantou Ancient Town, and the Eye of Light. The organizer has designed 12 indoor tour routes based on high-tech industries to facilitate visitors. Aside from Metro services, the organizer will open shuttle buses between the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center and hotels such as the Proud Way Hotel, Golden Luster Hotel, Grand View Hotel (Coastal City), Zhonghai Shengtingyuan Hotel, Sun Hope E-Metro Hotel, and Bauhinia Hotel. Exhibitors and guests staying at these hotels can make reservations free of charge. |
