20 Luohu tech firms join CHTF
    2023-11-15  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

TWENTY leading high-tech enterprises from Luohu District are attending the 25th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) from today until Sunday, Shenzhen Evening News reported.

Located in Hall 1 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District, the Luohu Pavilion covers a total area of 204 square meters.

The pavilion mainly showcases Luohu’s achievements in implementing the city’s “20+8” industrial cluster strategy since the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), highlighting the strides made in developing seven major industrial clusters, fostering specialized and sophisticated enterprises, and featuring the scientific and technological achievements of the 20 exhibitors.

Among the notable exhibitors at the Luohu Pavilion is the China Europe Innovative Medicine and Health Research Center. This biomedical science and technology innovation platform, a collaborative effort between the Luohu District Government and the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, focuses on integrating the world’s leading drug research and development platforms. Key areas of expertise include nucleic acid drugs, antibody drugs, drug delivery, and cell therapy.

Renowned companies such as AOTO Electronics, BEXTA, and YSPRING are also set to showcase their latest technological advancements at CHTF.

As of the end of the third quarter, Luohu had seen an increase of 139 new technology firms this year. The number of strategic emerging enterprises has reached 925, up by 26.4% year on year, according to the district’s science and technology innovation bureau.

The district currently has 167 specialized and sophisticated enterprises, and has introduced and cultivated 10 “little giants,” or leading small and medium-sized enterprises specializing in niche sectors and boasting core technologies.
