Online fraud penalties CHINA’S Ministry of Public Security said Monday it is seeking public opinion on a draft of the “joint punishment measures for telecom and internet fraud and related crimes” in order to implement the anti-telecom and online fraud law. The draft includes 19 articles covering six aspects, namely punishment principles, punishment targets, punishment measures, punishment categories, punishment procedures, as well as appeal and verification. Border port THE Ganqmod Port in North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the largest highway port on the China-Mongolia border, resumed two-way passenger traffic Monday. To ensure normal passenger clearance at the port, measures including service optimization and the opening of multiple inspection channels have been taken, said the port administration. Safety inspection CHINESE market regulators will conduct a nationwide inspection on roller coasters to eliminate potential safety hazards, the State Administration for Market Regulation said Monday. The administration ordered professionals from roller coaster manufacturers to reevaluate the safety mechanisms for roller coasters currently in operation and check the performance and wear for catapult, lifting, power, brake, anti-reversal and wheel systems to make relevant amendments. |
