SEVERAL significant achievements were released during the X-Lake Forum that kicked off at Shenzhen University Town in Xili, Nanshan District, yesterday.

The forum, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shenzhen government, coincided with the 25th China Hi-Tech Fair, which opened on the same day.

Themed “Innovation and Sustainable Development” with a focus on “Openness, Integration, and Future,” the forum brought together experts and scholars from home and abroad to explore these key elements and share the latest advancements in science and technology.

The highlight of the forum’s kickoff ceremony was the introduction of several scientific achievements encompassing basic scientific research infrastructure and pioneering educational initiatives. These achievements cover fields such as artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, and flexible electronics.

A standout revelation during the ceremony was the introduction of the X-Lake Sciensity spatial guideline. This initiative aims to transform the X-Lake Sciensity into an innovation-based and intelligent space, fostering a vibrant and ecologically favorable environment.

Furthermore, the unveiling included the introduction of the Brain Science Infrastructure, the Shenzhen Infrastructure for Synthetic Biology, and the “Peng Cheng Mind” model — a facility offering AI innovation solutions.
