Fringe Festival kicks off marathon of 92 shows

German artist John Eicke performs during the 14th Shenzhen Fringe Festival at OCT-LOFT in Nanshan District on Sunday. The festival features 24 groups of 159 artists from around the world, who will present a total of 92 art performances in various forms, such as  music, theater, dance, visual arts, exhibitions, family activities, as well as immersive bus concerts, street performances, and even Fringe pop-up stores. The festival will end Nov. 26. Since its inaugural edition in 2010, the festival has organized nearly 1,500 events with the participation of over 7,680 artists from around the world.Lin Songtao
