TWO Shenzhen hospitals, Shenzhen People’s Hospital and the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen, have made it into the recently released 2022 China Hospital Comprehensive Rankings, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported Monday.

The rankings, reviewed by renowned domestic peer experts, came from a nonprofit project carried out by the Hospital Management Research Institute of Fudan University as an independent third party.

Peking Union Medical College Hospital, West China Hospital, Sichuan University, and the Chinese PLA General Hospital came in the top three among the 100 hospitals that have entered the rankings.

Shenzhen People’s Hospital and the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen took the 98th and 100th spots, respectively.

Three medical specialties from Shenzhen hospitals also earned places in the 2022 China Hospital Specialty Reputation Rankings that were unveiled concurrently.

The Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen ranked third in tuberculosis, Shenzhen People’s Hospital ranked ninth in health management, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology Union Shenzhen Hospital (Nanshan Hospital) ranked third in dolorology. (Zhang Yu)
