A TOTAL of 28 Shenzhen enterprises are showcasing their latest technologies and products at the first China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), which kicked off Tuesday in Beijing.

The five-day expo, boasting the participation of 515 exhibitors from home and abroad, covers an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters. It comprises specialized sections dedicated to intelligent vehicles, green agriculture, green energy, digital technology, health, and supply chain services.

Shenzhen enterprises at the expo, with a space covering 2,700 square meters, are showcasing the city’s advancements in industry and supply chain development to both domestic and international visitors.

Shenzhen has laid a strong foundation and fostered leading companies in new-generation information technology, new energy vehicles, biomedicine, medical devices, and fashion, according to an official from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shenzhen Municipal Committee (CCPIT-Shenzhen).

At the green energy chain section, Shenzhen-based Sunwoda is exhibiting its cutting-edge power battery technology designed for new energy vehicles. The company has unveiled its latest batteries capable of ultrafast charging, promising an 80% increase in electric quantity within 10 minutes, enabling vehicles to travel up to 1,000 kilometers on a single charge.

In the digital technology chain domain, tech giant ZTE is presenting practical cases highlighting collaborations with over 1,000 global suppliers.

Liu Jian, senior vice president of ZTE, emphasized the company’s commitment to connecting innovative elements across entire industrial chains, fostering partnerships with companies of all sizes. “ZTE has partnered with over 1,000 collaborators across 15 sectors, spearheading digital transformations across hundreds of industries,” Liu said. “Our goal is to demonstrate our role in assisting enterprises to forge connections within the digital technology chain.”

External Asia, China’s first listed company in the supply chain sector, drew attention from clients seeking novel products, solutions, and applications in digitalization, artificial intelligence, and new energy fields. “As a leading company in the sector, External Asia consistently paves the way in exploration and innovation,” Qiu Pu, vice president of the company, said during an interview.
