Data verification

MUTUAL data verification between Shenzhen and Hong Kong are expected to be further streamlined and improved in the future, following the commencement of the construction of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cross-border Data Verification Platform.

The platform offers various cross-border data verification services, including insurance claims, real estate mortgages, bank account openings, wealth management, asset transfers, and marriage certificates, it was announced at the 2023 China (Shenzhen) FinTech Conference held in Futian yesterday morning.

Consequently, it effectively addresses challenges associated with cross-agency, cross-industry, and cross-scenario data collaboration between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Design Shenzhen

THE 2nd edition of Design Shenzhen will be held from March 21 to 24, 2024, at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District and will spotlight the theme of “Fusion of Design and Technology” by presenting diverse creative and design products, the most cutting-edge software and hardware technologies as well as pioneering design solutions to citizens in Shenzhen.

The inaugural Design Shenzhen event, held earlier this year, gathered over 200 domestic and international high-end design brands and independent designers from more than 30 countries and regions globally.

Xiaomeisha to open

YANTIAN District’s Xiaomeisha, Shenzhen’s first cultural and tourism urban renewal project, is expected to open during the May Day holiday next year, aiming to contribute to the city’s aspiration to establish itself as a global marine center city, officials announced at the 2023 China Marine Economy Expo.

The project plans to introduce a yacht marina in its sea area, a strategic move that will enhance Shenzhen’s yacht industry with an international-quality marina. The marina is expected to become an iconic facility in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and, in the future, connect with Hong Kong’s sea routes.
