SZ drops restrictions on foreign ownership in ship registration
    2023-12-05  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

An LNG bunker vessel is filling LNG fuel into France-registered container ship CMA CGM SORBONNE at Yantian Port in Shenzhen on Nov 22, 2022. Shenzhen will relax restrictions on the subjects of international ship registration and enterprises established in accordance with Shenzhen law can engage in international ship registration without restrictions on the proportion of foreign equity ownership, according to a new regulation taking effect March 1 next year. The new rule will also facilitate employment of foreign seafarers, with foreign seafarers serving on international ships to be exempted from obtaining work permits.Xinhua
