比亚迪公司周三透露，今年7月该公司就已拿到全国第一张有条件自动驾驶（L3 级）测试牌照。请看本报周四的报道：

Shenzhen-based electric vehicle giant BYD Co. said Wednesday it has obtained a conditional testing license for level 3 (L3) autonomous driving on high-speed roads.

BYD was granted the first such license in China in July, the company said in a statement on its official Weibo account.

Earlier in December, BMW Group said it had received a test license for L3 self-driving on high-speed roads in Shanghai, while Mercedes Benz said it would carry out L3 tests on designated highways in Beijing.

报道中的L3 self-driving，或者叫level 3 autonomous driving，指在某些条件下完成部分驾驶功能，同时驾驶员必须承担接管车辆的责任。L4级自动驾驶是在大部分情况下完成驾驶功能，但保留驾驶员接管车辆的选项。
