It was the first New Year’s performance organized by the city’s housing authority and Shenzhen Metro Group to promote the revitalization of rural areas through the promotion of traditional culture. In 2024, Shenzhen Metro Group will stage more traditional Chaozhou culture shows. Yingge, or “Hero’s Song,” is a 300-year-0ld warrior dance peculiar to the Chaoshan region of Guangdong Province.
