Visitors are interested in BYD cars on display at the Munich Motor Show in Germany on Sept. 5 last year. Shenzhen-based BYD posted a 62% surge in global sales to just over 3 million units last year, compared to 2022, moving it closer to displacing Tesla as the world market leader for fully electric vehicles.
