THE slogan, emblem, and mascots for the 9th Asian Winter Games were officially unveiled in Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, on Thursday.

The 2025 Asian Winter Games organizers launched the official slogan “Dream of Winter, Love among Asia” around one year away from the opening of the Games.

At the launching ceremony, the organizers also presented the adorable tiger mascots “Binbin” and “Nini” and the official emblem, which is the fusion of a short track speed skater figure, a lilac flower and dancing ribbons.

Meanwhile, the organizing committee for the 2025 Asian Winter Games was officially established Wednesday. The games are scheduled to take place in early 2025 and will feature six sports, 11 disciplines and 64 events.

The regional games will be staged in China for the third time following Harbin in 1996 and Changchun, capital city of Jilin Province, in 2007. Harbin was awarded the 2025 Asian Winter Games by the Olympic Council of Asia at its 42nd General Assembly held in Bangkok, Thailand, in July 2023.
