In a recent development, 200 recyclable express boxes, loaded with cross-border e-commerce goods, returned to Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport after concluding a five-day “low-carbon journey” between Shenzhen and Paris. The Shenzhen-Paris freight route, operated by a logistics company in Qianhai, is poised to witness a reduction in the annual consumption by an estimated 1.46 million cardboard boxes. The figure is equivalent to an annual decrease of nearly 5,000 tons of carbon emissions, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported.
